The Hostage (by our ACTING ON LOCATION cast)
The Hostage (by our ACTING ON LOCATION cast)
The Hostage is an original, immersive play written by Dayna Swinburne for our Acting on Location cast and performed live on stage inside a pitch-black theatre.
As the clock strikes seven, the lights inside the storage room at 22 Nettleton Way will go out forever - for our audience, and most importantly for Bruno, an aging and out-of-work game show host trapped inside a claustrophobic locked room with no where but his vivid imagination to escape to.
Meet Dolly, the caring elderly lady helping to guide Bruno towards the light, his frantic friends and beloved family in search of peace, as well as kind strangers in search of justice.
In typical Theatre on Foot fashion, this isn't your regular stage production. Audiences will have their senses awakened as they sit in darkness for the duration of our story, allowing their imaginations to run wild in a disorientated state - until the lights flicker back into action and our emotional rollercoaster is complete.
"Hello...? Is somebody there..? I'm trapped, can you hear me...?"
