Little Nightmares is an original elevated horror story written by Kane Murray. This promenade performance piece, set in 1941 in the midst of the Liverpool Blitz during WWII, tells the story of a Little Girl who desperately wishes to be reunited with her father who has left home to fight in the war. As her worry and anxieties increase for the safe return of her beloved father, the Little Girl spends her sleeping hours imagining what the Nazi's may be like, and is dragged into a world she may never escape from.
This adventurous production, which explores the power of dreams, will immerse apprehensive audiences into the nightmarish worlds of sinister scarecrows, creepy circus dolls, macabre ale houses and more, as they escape reality and enter a world of fear and trepidation.
Theatre on Foot have performed in many unique locations, from woodlands to underground tunnels, but this is our most exciting, albeit unconventional, theatre space to date!
