1. All parents and guardians acknowledge that The Playbarn is not a supervised play centre and accept full responsibility for the supervision of the children in their care at all times.

 2. A general admission ticket entitles the bearer entry into The Playbarn and all its play areas and activities for a pre-defined 90 minute session.

 3. All children admitted to The Playbarn must hold a valid ticket obtained via our website’s online booking system or on entry. Tickets cannot be purchased and will not be accepted by third party ticket providers.

 4. Customers with pre-booked tickets are given priority entry and we cannot guarantee entry for visitors without prior online booking.

 5. All tickets purchased online are non-refundable. If you wish to transfer your booking you must give us 72 hours notice prior to the start time of the original pre-booked play session.  The new play session date must be within 6 months of the original pre-booked play session.

 6. Ticket prices are quoted in GBP and this is the only currency we accept. Prices may change from time to time and our booking systems will be updated accordingly.

8. Guests are asked not to arrive more than 5 minutes before the start of their session as the doors will be locked between sessions.

 9. You may turn up later than your allocated start time, however you will still be required to leave at the end of the session even if you have not been there for the full 90 minutes It is your responsibility to arrive in time for your session and we cannot be held responsible for any delays you may experience.  Refunds and transfers will not be given if you miss your session or part of it.

 10. The Playbarn reserves the right to close the whole or part of the venue at any time if deemed necessary for the security and safety of guests and staff.   Customers will be offered the opportunity to re-book their tickets within 6 months.

 11. Guests may not bring outside food and drink into The Playbarn. There is a comprehensive range of food and drink available to purchase from our café on site.

 12. All personal belongings and property brought into The Playbarn by visitors is done so at the owners risk.  The Playbarn accepts no liability for any loss or damage to such property during a visit.

 13. All guests must remove their shoes before entering the playframe.

 14. Guests can take photographs of their own children for personal purposes only.   Unless permission has been expressly granted by us, pictures and images cannot be reproduced in any format or media other than for private viewing.

 15. The Playbarn will only share photographs of children playing on our website, social media or promotional materials with prior written consent from parents/carers.

Terms and Conditions

2.   Number of Guests:

• Please note the minimum number required for your party. Details are listed on our party information. N.B. Guest numbers (approximate) based on invitation and expected replies are required at the time you book your party. We will contact you to confirm the number of guests 2 days before your party to allow us to set the party table and to make the correct amount of food. If the number of guests drops after this time a charge of £3.50 will apply for each non-attendee.

2.   Bookings/Deposits/Balance payments:

• (i) A non refundable deposit (£50 min) is required to secure your booking. Payments can be made in cash, debit/credit card or via our online booking system.        Any payments made over and above the minimum deposit will be treated as deposit monies and are non refundable.

• (ii) Payment can be made in person, over the phone or via the booking site, after which a confirmation of booking will be forwarded to you.

Payment of deposit to book a party confirms acceptance of these terms and conditions. Bookings not done in person are deemed to have read and accepted our terms and conditions.

• (iii) In the event of your cancellation of a party (for any reason whatsoever) deposits will not be refunded. In certain circumstances a transfer of deposit to an alternative date may be considered but is at the absolute discretion of The Playbarn.
• (iv) Where full party payments (over and above the minimum numbers required for your party) are made at the time of booking, The Playbarn will assume these numbers to be definite and no refund will be given for any overpayment due to lesser attendance of guests on the day.
• (v) Balance payments are due on the day of your party and will be required at the end of your party once the number of guests has been confirmed.

3.   General:

• (ii) All visitors must adhere to the rules of play displayed at reception.
  • (iii) A party host will be dedicated to administering arrivals and organize your party room time. Party parent/guardian will be responsible for the care and supervision of all guests, including children who are left by their parents whilst attending your child’s party. We recommend one adult for every five children.
  • (iv) For hygiene and safety reasons socks must be worn at all times by both children and adults.
  • (vi) Party room decorations may be used at the discretion of the Management and will be put up by Playbarn team. Pinata's, party poppers and silly string are not permitted.
  • (vii) No food or drink is to be brought into the centre or party without prior agreement from Management.
  • (viii) Parent and adult guests are welcome to watch the Birthday celebration in the party room. You are welcome to photograph/film your party however please respect the privacy of other centre users and avoid photographing/filming in public areas.
  • (ix) Parties wishing to bring or use the services of companies supplying characters/mascots must be approved by The Playbarn. A valid public liability insurance certificate will be required at least 7 days prior to your party to allow participation.
    • (x) Please do not arrive more than 10 minutes prior to your party start time.
