In our spring mini-series, Watch, Talk, Think, we present three films on the theme of pregnancy. Each screening is followed by a panel discussion on the specific film themes and broader issues raised. Our first film is Palme d’Or-winning drama 4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days (15, 2007) dealing with unplanned pregnancy and illegal abortion in communist-era Romania. Panellists include Foundling Museum Director Caro Howell, film scholar Helen De Witt, historian Diana Georgescu and Kaye Wellings, Professor of Sexual and Reproductive Health.
