Studfold Adventure Trail

The opening of Studfold Adventure Trail has been planned with great caution and consideration to ensure we can protect our staff, our community and our visitors. We thank you for your patience and understanding while we have been busy behind the scenes putting this all in place.

All visitors to Studfold will now have to book their visits. This has been introduced to ensure we can monitor the number of people visiting Studfold. It will also help to maintain the flow of visitors arriving at any one time and reduce all contact upon arrival. When booking online you agree to the following terms and conditions…

Terms and Conditions

Please do not travel to Studfold Adventure Trail if you have any signs of or are recovering from COVID 19 infection. Please also stay away if you have been in contact with someone that has COVID 19 symptoms.

Cancellations: You have the right to cancel a booking within 24 hours of it being made, then we will issue a full refund or move the booking to another date/time within the present years season depending on availability. Refunds from the booking company can take up to 21 days.

If we have to close the Trail, for whatever reason, we will inform you as soon as possible and then move your booking to another date/time, within the present years season depending on availability. If there is no availabity we will refund your entrance fee minus any booking fee. If you are worried that we may be closed please call 01423 755084 to check. Late arrivals and no shows will not be entitled to a refund and may have to leave if all later availability has already been taken.

We may be able to move bookings but requests will have to be received at least 48 hours before the booked time slot and will be dependent on availability in the present years season.

Children should be supervised by a parent/or an adult guardian within your group at all times.

Please bring proof of booking. Only the number of places pre booked can attend. Please note there is very little phone reception at Studfold! Be patient, remember we will always try our best to help. Please ensure you leave plenty of time to get to Studfold. If you arrive after your booked time slot we may not be able to allow entry onto the Trail.

Please bring with you your own items for personal safety (e.g. hand sanitiser/spray and protective clothing), to protect yourselves from Covid 19 infection and Zoonoses. Especially if you have touched animals or surrounding farmland or used toilet facilities and touching play and communal items. We recommend all hands are washed regularly with warm, soapy water and dried with hand towels or hand driers, especially before eating, and also when leaving Studfold. A full risk assessment is available.

Please respect the social distancing rules.

Studfold is a magical place to visit, however we might have to limited a number of the activities that are available on the Adventure Trail in order to reduce the risk of infection. E.g. in 2021 the bird hide was closed. We may have to add other activities/areas to this list if we feel it is necessary.

On arrival please queue in allocated areas and go to an outside reception window when available. There will be no entry to the shop, if there is a danger of Covid. Ice cream, sweets, drinks and toys will be listed to buy. Take away food/picnics and drinks will be available from the café when open (Please bring your own picnic rugs/blanket). Follow any recent government guidelines.

Please do not touch the fairies, fairy houses and their accessories.

We reserve the right to close Studfold Adventure Trail or any part of the attraction if we deem it is necessary to protect our staff or our customers from risk.

Barbeques and open fires or loud music are not permitted.

We operate a non-smoking policy.

Bring what you need with you and please do not leave litter.

The stream is out of bounds. Do not climb on walls, gates or fences.

Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead. Dog poo must be bagged and binned.

If these terms and conditions are not adhered to Studfold staff have the right to tell you to leave the Trail immediately.
