Want to get out with the kids for fresh air and fun? Studfold Adventure Trail in the magical Yorkshire Dales is a play and discover experience for toddlers and children of all primary school ages, girls and boys, to explore nature and run wild. Did you know fairies live here? Mischief and surprises await you in our secret woodland and meadows. But first you’ll have to work out how to unlock the gates as you make your way to the Village of Two Stone Wishes.
This is one of the best family day out attractions, with so much to see, do and enjoy. There are clues to unravel, treasure to find, sensory boxes, go-karts, play park, interactive historical barn, den building and lots more. You’ll love our resting place for a picnic too, to soak up the scenery while the children play. The fantastic Nidderdale Way Cafe and lovely facilities are all onsite, and with so many activities for all ages, you’ll want to visit Studfold again and again. There’s nowt quite like it!
In order to protect both our visitors and staff several areas/activities may need special access requirements.
We are counting on your sense of responsibility and ask you to continue respecting the current Government safety measures (keeping your distance, washing/sanitising hands) to keep all at Studfold safe and healthy. If you have coronavirus symptoms or have been in contact with people that have coronavirus symptoms you must stay at home. Please bring your own hand sanitiser and any PPE you feel is necessary. To prevent infection from zoonoses we recommend all hands are washed regularly with warm, soapy water and dried with hand towels or hand driers, especially when you have touched communal items, before eating, and also when leaving Studfold. Hand washing facilities are present in the cafe, toilet blocks and the picnic and play area barn. A full risk assessment is available.
If we are unable to open for the date you have booked we will transfer your booking to another date of your choosing, (dependant on 2024 availability) or if there is no availability we will give you a refund minus any booking fee.
The half hour time block that you choose to book is the arrival time span that you may enter the Adventure Trail. Although we recommend you arrive early within this half an hour. The adventure trail usually takes a minimum of 2 hours to explore.
Dogs are allowed on leads and any mess picked up and disposed of in a bin!
All terrain pushchairs are suitable for exploring the adventure.
In wet conditions the Go kart area may be closed for safety reasons.
There is a cafe at Studfold where you can order a picnic when you arrive and we can take it to the play area in one of our lovely baskets. Baskets are taken up to the play area at 11.30am, 12.30pm and 1.30pm.
A camping, caravan and glamping park is available at Studfold if you wish to extend your adventure. Book to stay at www.studfold.com
