Traditional Jazz & Ale Cruise Friday 11th September, 7pm.
We are running a special trip for trad. jazz enthusiasts. Starting from Colt Hill Wharf, Odiham, at 7pm, music by Tim Eyles Ragamuffins, the boat will head eastwards and turn at the Barley Mow bridge in Winchfield, where fish and chip suppers will be delivered. Real ale, wines and spirits are available for purchase at the bar.
This trip is popular, and to avoid disappointment we suggest you make a booking beforehand. For the added convenience of passengers, we are limited to 40 passengers on this trip, and cannot guarantee to have space at the last moment.

Around 3½ hours, however please note: trip may be longer when the canal water is low, for example, after periods of little rain.
A licenced bar is open on all cruises, where you can purchase coffee, tea, drinks, and light refreshments. Souvenirs are available to help you remember the occasion.
Both the John Pinkerton II and its operating company are wholly owned by The Basingstoke Canal Society (a registered charity). All crew members are trained volunteers, and skippers are accredited by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency. Proceeds from boat trips go towards safeguarding the Basingstoke Canal for the future.
