Ramble and Cruise, or Cruise and Ramble - with Ploughman's Lunch,
Tuesday 4th August and Thursday 27th August, 11.30am.
We are offering a choice of one-way cruise and a ramble walk between Colt Hill wharf at Odiham and Barley Mow wharf at Winchfield.
You choose whether you want to cruise by boat on either the Outward Leg or the Return Leg.
This booking (Outward Leg) is for you to Depart from Colt Hill wharf, Odiham at 11.30am, and cruise to Barley Mow, where your ploughman's lunch will be delivered at 1pm. You will be free to ramble the tow-path in your own time to Colt Hill.
You may book both legs by boat by ALSO selecting Return Leg booking, to pay an additional charge of Adult £4.50 / Child £2.50.
Booking closes 48 hours before departure.
These trips are popular, and to avoid disappointment we suggest you make a booking beforehand. We are limited to 50 passengers on this trip (that includes babes in arms), so cannot guarantee to have space at the last moment.

Duration
Around 1½ hours cruise, however please note: trip may be longer when the canal water is low, for example, after periods of little rain.
A licenced bar is open on all cruises, where you can purchase coffee, tea, drinks, and light refreshments. Souvenirs are available to help you remember the occasion.
Both the John Pinkerton II and its operating company are wholly owned by The Basingstoke Canal Society (a registered charity). All crew members are trained volunteers, and skippers are accredited by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency. Proceeds from boat trips go towards safeguarding the Basingstoke Canal for the future.
