Central England & Wales
Central England & Wales
Highlights – A 5-day tour starting with a walk to Three Shires Head where Staffordshire, Derbyshire and Cheshire meet; wild-swimming (optional) in a most photogenic picnic spot. One of my favourite places. You will love it.
You will get to cross the awesome Pontcysyllte aqueduct, the highest canal aqueduct in the world, and the thriving Welsh town of Llangollen. Immersed in nature; walks alongside rivers, through forests, villages and more. Plenty of opportunities to swim.
Accommodation will be a mixture of local bed and breakfasts or guesthouses, all of a very good standard.
