Enjoy a swim and tour of Chester City Baths at a special festival rate. The Victorian City Baths first opened in 1901 and replaced Chester’s floating baths on the Dee at The Groves. Designed by John Douglas, the outside of the building is quite typical of other black-and-white revival buildings in Chester. Inside it’s a special place to enjoy a swim and to explore on a short tour of the building. All children must be accompanied by an adult, those under 5 on a 1-1 ratio, and from 5- 8 on a ratio of no more than 2 children per adult. Please note the building is accessed via steps from Union Street.
