How could a war happening hundreds of miles away affect a city in the north-west of England? It wasn't just the 22nd Cheshire Regiment that was drawn into the first world war...it affected everyone! People already living in a city with a bloody history.
Join local historian and tour guide, Tom Hudson, as he prepares to launch Chester's first world war murder mystery that delves into the everyday lives of the city's inhabitants amidst war and conflicts at home.
The venue for the talk provides the atmosphere with many Great War artefacts and pictures.
Duration approx. one hour. After the talk entertainment will be provided outside by Chester City Morris Men.
Tickets are free but due to limited numbers booking is essential.
