The iconic grade 2 listed Lead Shot Tower is the only tower of its era left in this country and a reminder of a once thriving Leadworks in Chester. Join Ann Marie Curtis, local historian to explore the area where the works once stood, and the workers lived.
At the end of the walk there will be an opportunity to go into St Werburgh’s Church for a 10-minute illustrated presentation about the people who lived and worked at the Leadworks, an abstract from the talk Ann Marie is giving at the Church on 25 June.
The duration of the whole event will be approximately one hour. The walk includes no steps. Please note it is currently not possible to go inside the tower.
