A Chester Archaeological Society one-day conference on the theme of Chester as a persistent place with local, regional, and national and transnational connections. A range of expert speakers will address this theme on topics spanning a long time period, from early prehistory to the post-medieval. The lecture theatre in the Grosvenor Museum has raked seating with limited space for wheelchair users at the back of the theatre.
